A creamy, cheesy spaghetti squash dish topped with a golden crust, perfect for weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium spaghetti squash
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Gruyère or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (e.g., parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pierce the squash with a knife and cook in the microwave for 10–12 minutes until tender.
  3. Cut the cooked squash in half and scoop out the seeds.
  4. Scrape the insides with a fork to create spaghetti-like strands.
  5. In a baking dish, combine the spaghetti squash strands, heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stir in the shredded cheese and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top.
  8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
