A delicious twist on the classic burger experience, served in a healthy, deconstructed bowl.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups lettuce (romaine or mixed greens)
  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 1 cup pickles, sliced
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (use red, yellow, or green)
  • 1/2 cup dairy-free special sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it’s fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed.
  2. Prepare the vegetables by chopping the lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, and bell peppers into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Layer the cooked ground beef, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced pickles, and chopped bell peppers in a large serving bowl.
  4. Add the dairy-free special sauce over the top of the layered ingredients.
  5. Serve and enjoy, either tossed gently or immediately for a fresh meal.

Notes

Use lean ground beef for a healthier option and fresh vegetables for the best flavor. Adjust ingredients as desired.
