A creamy and flavorful Chicken Alfredo Pasta that’s quick to prepare, making it perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil a pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the same skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute, just until fragrant.
  4. Pour the heavy cream into the skillet, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer and lower the heat. Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with more salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss together until well coated in the creamy sauce. Remove from heat.
  6. Divide the Chicken Alfredo Pasta among plates and garnish with freshly chopped parsley, if desired.

Notes

Keep heat at medium to prevent the cream from boiling. Use fresh ingredients for optimal flavor.
