Delightful Halloween cupcakes topped with vibrant green frosting and fresh strawberries, perfect for parties or a fun treat at home.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Chocolate Cupcake mix
  • 1 tub of Vanilla Frosting
  • Black food coloring
  • Whipped cream
  • Gummy worms
  • Candy corn
  • Strawberries (fresh, for topping)
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Sugar cookies (baked and cut into Halloween shapes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line your cupcake tins with cupcake liners.
  2. Prepare the chocolate cupcake mix according to the package instructions. Fill the liners about two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Once done, let them cool completely.
  3. Frost each cupcake generously with the vanilla frosting. Add a few drops of black food coloring to the frosting and swirl to create spooky designs.
  4. Top each frosted cupcake with a dollop of whipped cream. Insert gummy worms for a creepy-crawly effect, and arrange candy corn for a festive touch.
  5. Slice the strawberries and place a few pieces on top of the cupcakes or alongside for a fresh and fruity pop.
  6. Prepare a basic sugar cookie dough, roll it out, and cut into fun Halloween shapes. Bake according to your recipe’s instructions, let cool, and decorate with colored frosting.
  7. Arrange the completed cupcakes and sugar cookies on a platter for a delightful Halloween dessert display.

Notes

Ensure your cupcakes are completely cool before frosting to prevent the frosting from melting. Store any leftover frosting in an airtight container in the fridge for later use.
