Ingredients
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 cup chocolate chips
Candy eyes
Red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
Mix the Base: In a bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, and graham cracker crumbs. Stir until well blended; the mixture should be thick but not dry.
Shape the Eyeballs: With clean hands, roll the peanut butter mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until completely melted and smooth.
Coat the Balls: Using a fork, dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, making sure they are fully covered. Tap off any excess chocolate and return to the baking sheet.
Add the Eyes: Before the chocolate sets, place candy eyes on each ball. If you want a ‘bloody’ look, drizzle a little red food coloring over the chocolate using a toothpick.
Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the coated eyeballs until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes. Once set, enjoy your spooky treats!
Notes
Use good-quality chocolate for the best flavor. Substitute with white chocolate for a different taste.
