Delightful skull-shaped potato bites filled with creamy mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese, perfect for gatherings and themed parties.

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Oil for greasing the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking sheet with oil.
  2. Place the cubed potatoes in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot.
  3. Add milk, butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until it melts and combines with the potato mixture.
  5. Using a skull-shaped mold, or by hand, form the potato mixture into skull shapes and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy on the outside.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.

Notes

Ensure potatoes are well-mashed for the best texture. Grease the baking sheet to prevent sticking. Adjust seasoning as per your preference.
