A quick and easy dish featuring vibrant broccoli tossed in a savory garlic sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb broccoli florets
  • 3 tablespoons garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Introduce the broccoli florets to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until bright green.
  4. Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water in a bowl, whisking until smooth.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the broccoli, stirring well to coat.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. This dish is best served fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
