Moist and fudgy brownies blended with seasonal pumpkin and warm spices, perfect for fall gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of store-bought brownie mix
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 can (15 oz) of canned pumpkin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/4 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix together the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Whisk together the canned pumpkin, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, then add dollops of the pumpkin mixture on top.
  5. Swirl the batters together gently using a knife or a skewer to create a marbled effect.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped nuts on top if desired.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a nut-free option, omit the nuts. For a dairy-free version, use a dairy-free brownie mix and substitute eggs with flax eggs.
