Ingredients
2 cups chocolate chips (milk, dark, or white)
1 cup nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, or pecans), chopped
1 cup dried fruits (e.g., cranberries, apricots, or raisins)
1/2 cup crushed candies (e.g., peppermint, toffee, or M&Ms)
Sea salt, for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals. Stir in between each interval until the chocolate is smooth and fully melted.
Spread the Chocolate: Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet. Use a spatula to spread it out evenly to your desired thickness.
Add Toppings: Sprinkle the chopped nuts, dried fruits, and crushed candies over the melted chocolate while it’s still warm.
Optional Salt Finish: If desired, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top for an extra flavor dimension.
Chill Until Set: Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for 1 to 2 hours or until the chocolate has fully hardened.
Break into Pieces: Once set, remove the bark from the refrigerator, break it into pieces, and enjoy or package it for sharing.
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate for best results. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
