A classic Chicken Alfredo dish that blends creamy goodness with tender, flavorful chicken, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fettuccine (or preferred pasta)
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions in salted boiling water, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Prepare the chicken by seasoning with salt and pepper. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet and cook chicken until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Sauté the minced garlic in the remaining butter in the same skillet for about 30 seconds.
  4. Make the Alfredo sauce by pouring in the heavy cream and simmering it on low heat for 3-5 minutes to thicken.
  5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Adjust the consistency using reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Combine the cooked pasta and chicken with the sauce, tossing to coat evenly, and remove from heat.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients, and monitor the thickness of the sauce. Add any desired vegetables for extra nutrition.
